- Sunny afternoons (2:00 PM – 4:00 PM): Sunlight shines diagonally into the courtyard, creating strong contrast and light/shadow effects for better photo texture.
- Cloudy days: The building’s color tone is grayish-black, allowing you to capture depressing, melancholic, “emo-style” shots.
- Blue hour evenings: When the sky is about to turn dark, the lights inside the building turn on, creating a contrasting warm and cool atmosphere.
Haitangxi Metro Station(海棠溪地铁站)
- Try to arrive before 7:40 PM for the best blue hour. The lights on the building behind turn on around 8:00 PM.
Himalaya Residences Chongqing(喜马拉雅公馆)
- Shoot in the morning. The golden light on Raffles City during the early morning (about an hour after sunrise) is especially stunning. Lights turn on at 8:00 PM.

- Arrive around 7:50 PM to catch the sunset. City lights turn on at 8:00 PM. It will probably be completely dark by 8:30 PM.

- To capture the light trails of car headlights, the exposure time will be relatively long, about 1 minute.
